Project Review: Atlas

Jan Hinrik Hansen's Atlas (atlas.hinrik.io) provides a fun way to test and stretch your knowledge of the world: names, flags and capitals of countries, in the format of something you can do while waiting for the bus. It's a quiz on a 3D globe, with four modes:

• Find It: pick which country matches the name
• Name It: name the highlighted country
• Flag It: pick the flag
• Cap It: pick the capital

It keeps track of your progress across all four, so you can see yourself getting better as you play.

Worth a look if you're after a family game night, or if you've got ten minutes and only a rough idea of where Paraguay is.
